Terrorists of Liberty

by ben thompson   Aug 9, 2007

Panic of uncertainty, then a scattered voice shouts.
Trade towers are crumbling lets get everyone out.

Air consumed by fire, thick smoke and debris.
Country prays silently falling to their knees.

Emergency workers ready, tools of trade in hand.
Educated and prepared to protect our precious lands.

Rushing bravely into danger with no thought of self.
Trying to free hurt and injured from a burning hell.

Many good people lost their lives that horrid day.
Acts committed by cowards, atrocities on display.

The eagles iron will is strong and still remains.
The infidels now hide below to escape the fiery rain.

Years haven't erased our desire to do whats right.
To extinguish terror and keep up the good fight.

This stirs up many emotions. A tragic day in history. My heart goes out to all the people who lost a loved one that day. I will always remember the innocent people who lost their lives that day because of idiots of the world who should not have been allowed to enter our country in the first place. Very heartfelt piece here!
