Heart Ache

by Dying Beautifully   Aug 9, 2007

His heart it aches
To have her love
Pain is what he feels as soon as he wakes
To him she is flawless like a dove

She's told him she'll never feel the same
It makes him feel sad and depressed
His anger it will never be tame
For her lips he has never caressed

The truth is she should be the one who is ashamed
For her it's unknown what he would do
If it was I his love would be tamed
His heart and soul would never have to be blue

Captivating. Gosh, you took my breath away with this work. It was something I thoroughly could correlate with -- an unrequited love. There's nothing much more dramatic than this kind of love, I believe.

When you said, "If it was I his love would be tamed, His heart and soul would never have to be blue", it made me connect to the time when I felt so aggravated with the same situation as you (or the character) are in. I further liked the thought of taming love. It's truly capturing.

    Bittersweet.
