Return to My Planet

by Goran Rahim   Aug 10, 2007

Ripping apart my innocent heart,
You are not in my planet like before.
Similar to the moon in the sky,
I see your beauty, but you are not near anymore.

Tonight, awake all alone time is gone,
One was over, it was two, and now it is three.
Still up, writing a poem,
As your love would not set me free.

How many nights you want me to spend?
With this so called love pain; silently.
Imagine just one sleepless night,
How it feels? Answer me honestly.

Please return to my planet,
As it is full of adore.
Don't get lost in your own world,
We can share the same planet, I am sure.

Excellent. Very heartfelt and touching, but also sad. I think it was beautifully written and I love your word choice, especially in the opening line. This poem also flowed really well. Good Job.
