Twilight's Deception

by Tommy   Aug 10, 2007

As I walk along the Lunar Shore
An Earth-Bound Angel enters my eyes
The darkness hides for a minute more
She dances right towards the sky.

The Masquerade has silently spoken
Her tears crashing towards the tide
The effect on the wave is all but broken
Swiftly, I walk up to her side.

Her hair is an inferno, blazing out of sight
We watch the stars soaring by
Deep Into The Night
I give her the power to never cry.

But the girl was not to last
She was gone in an distant sigh
The Sun destroyed our past
And I have never found out why.
