Little angel

by SeGrAdA   Aug 10, 2007

Daddy's little angel is crying
Mommy's little girl is dying,
staring at this picture that's lying
or is it just me who's denying.

It feels like it's such a delight
to admire this scene tonight,
so consoling to be in a gloomy night
away from that swollen bright light.

No writing in an empty book,
no crying in an empty room
would cover up the damage,
or pad out all the bruises.

My dull guilt, my traumatic tail
are invading that invaluable absurd pain

I just want to thank all who
have loved me in their heart,
to all who paused a little near my prison wall
to hear my last call.

Strong written poem, i'm not a big fan of rhyming poems but i can have some adoration for this piece. It's very beautiful and the end is bittersweet sad.
