Forever and a day

When we were younger,
you promised me forever
but just how long is forever
when you only have a day?
your eyes are tired,
inside you are screaming for help
but i cant do anything about it
the docter says you dont have too long
i say a prayer
so i guess this is forever
but if i only had one more day
forever and a day,
but i cant bring you back
these feelings build up inside of me
they dont want to leave,
slowly i am the one dying
begging for another day.
another tomorrow.
