We use to stay up until midnight,
sharing our secrets,
we never got too old,
or too young.We never
knew what to expect,
until one day you
had a downfall, you couldn't
see nor could you talk, we couldnt
do the things we did before.
Slowly in your ear i whispered
a gentle "We're never too old,
and never too young.when all
else fails, you need to try again.
your blind because you didn't see
the friendship we shared, you cant
talk because you never could trust,
You cant walk because you always
stood alone, and the docters cant help you,
because you always build a wall.
Impossible to get past, there were gaurds everywhere.
We swore we would live in a castle,
and people laughed.and now no one's laughing.
the years we left behind aren't memories,
they're just lost. and we need to find them.
we'll give them a road, and maybe they'll
find our road. you're never too young,
and you're never too old."
you started to shake, as i put down your hand.
you started to sing, butterflys soared.
you started to see, the heavens danced.
You started to walk, and you were not alone.
