Silver Mirror

by Alyssa Friday   Aug 10, 2007

I've been saved by a silver mirror
hanging on a beaded crystal wall,
pulled suddenly into a strange world
where pain could no longer follow me.
There I stay, surrounded by the glass,
all the walls protecting my being
from the demons that chased me before.
Farewell cruel reality; I shall
not return to life's shattered remains.
