My Worst Enemy

by BreakMyWingsAndRun   Aug 10, 2007

You watch me as i slit my wrist
we both hear every sound,
of my blood dripping to the ground.

You see the tears coming from my eyes
watching my mascara stain my face,
you know it's my past I'm trying to erase.

You know this is what i do when i get depressed
it gets my mind off stuff,
and you say it makes me tuff.

But i thought you cared
thought you were my friend,
but i found you weren't in the end.

If you were my true friend
you wouldn't let me do this to me,
i've found out you are my worst enemy.

My worst enemy i hope i never see you again
i'll never know what you look like,
i'll never again see that horrible sight.

I'll cover all the mirrors in my house
so i'll never have to see your stare,
my worst enemy is myself because she never cared.

If this is the right poem, great job. This is one of your best, even though I feel they all are great. Creepy but I can see the meaning.
