Change of Heart

by ben thompson   Aug 10, 2007

What awaits our souls after deaths icy theft?
Is forgiveness granted from evils horrid depths?

My black sins numerous like stars across the sky.
Devious exploits amassed, no mercy as they cried.

Then a miraculous light penetrated my stone heart.
Caring and faith returned with hate and angers depart.

Now a honored soldier trying to spread his every word.
Redemption for demonic deeds, my after life assured.

Entering the worst ghettos I preached to one and all.
One week after accepting my savior came deaths call.

We never know exactly how much time we have left.
Never to late to turn around and live life for the best.
