Lost thoughts

by claire   Aug 11, 2007

Your memories stand beside you,
like soldiers in a war,
they fight with all the enemies,
based on what they saw.

Your heart shines like gold,
like money in your pocket,
it might be for the girl,
that you keep inside your locket.

Your hands they feel so gentle,
like bakers making bread,
if only you could remember,
exactly what she said.
