The Pain of Leaving

by eve   Aug 11, 2007

The moonlight vanished
The sparkle of a twinkling star had said goodbye
The rain stood surprised
And the flowers wondered why?

My heart's glow was gone
The glitter in my shinning eyes has traveled high
My tears stunned of panic
And my cheeks asked why?

I was waiting to see your smile
To turn towards me, to hug me
And whisper in my ears
That you love me forever
But forever's come and gone
Please tell me what should be done

However, they brought you to me
Challenging death by your soul
The coldness of your last breath was still saying my name
And the pain in your eyes was just the same

I couldn't help this view
But if only the chances we have are few
I held you tight till
Your soul went into me through

The words was a moment like me
Requesting why must this be?
Why am I the one?
Why it is happening to me?

I hate to talk about this moment
That will always be a memory
But you're going to be alive
In my dreams and in my heart

From this moment on
You'll have to be my dream again
Whenever I look to the sky
Although the dream will turn to Bane
Whenever I look back and wonder why?!
