Summer

School's out!
I'm free!
No more homework to do,
No more math tests to worry about.

It's time for relaxing,
Riding my bike all day,
Swimming so much I'm permanently pruned,
Staying up all night and sleeping all day.

Catching fireflies at twilight,
Shopping till I drop,
Watching fireworks,
And the sunburn that lasts weeks.

This is what I can't wait for,
All school year long,
It's the best part of the year!
