A FATHER'S PARTING WORDS

by peter   Aug 12, 2007

To My sons that I love an adore,
It's your time to go forth, to grow and explore,
Like the seeds of life, nurtured, and loved,
"Yes" Yes Yes, I could have done more,
But judge me not,
My failings are mine; not yours,
Look to your hearts, the life ahead,
It is- all yours,
Be fair be strong,
Be caring and share in the memories,
Thats our now; and fore-ever more,

To my sons, that I love and adore,
Words are cheap,
But actions speak, take your time,
and I know that you will both;
Find your feet,

To my sons that I love and adore,
It's my time, my journeys end,
These parting words are the only thing,
I have left to give,
