Creatures of the Night

Mystic, magic, darkness, light!
Graceful creatures of the night.
Enchanting, raging, midnight seas,
Whispers like the wind on leaves.

Dancing always out of sight,
Graceful creatures of the night.
Flowing gowns and gleaming hair,
Never seen but always there.

Waiting 'til the time is right,
Graceful creatures of the night.
Patient, watchng, glinting eyes,
While the sun is in the skies.

Now the moon comes into sight,
Graceful creatures of the night.
Lighting stars and bringing dreams,
Angels chasing nightmare scenes.

But with the dawn must come first light,
Graceful creatures of the night.
Dreams and angels hide away,
Until the end of the new day.

    That poem was really good! It had a steady beat and the rhyming scheme was one I hadn't read before. It was so wonderful! I love the different words you used the describe the different elements and creatures in the poem. I also like how you kept the subject consistant throughout the whole piece. I love Fantasy, and this was true fantasy. I love how you described the angels. Perfect! Great job!!
