We May Make It

We may make it after all
We knew we were bound to fall
After all is said and done
We may always be as one

We''ve made it through ups and downs
Through the smiles and all the frowns
With the beats of our own hearts
From all the planned stops and starts

We took one step at a time
Like the rhythm of this rhyme
We may make it after all
In the end we may stand tall

    As always, a pleasurable read. Though the circumstances doesn't seem right anymore, the character's buoyant disposition, indicating that their love may well endure, truly captivates my heart. How I wish Love would be as eternal as this with everyone else...
