FLY'S DOWN

by Dancing On The Ceiling   Aug 12, 2007

She always did have a crush on him.
Cute, smart and funny with the name of Jim.
But no salutations have ever been said.
However she has planned every hand motion and word in her head.
Yes it's true they never actually talked.
So when she caught him staring at her, she was shocked.
One day to her surprise,
He came up to her with those cute eyes.
She was shocked as if there had been a sudden death.
What came out of her mouth was Ahh Umm then about three sentences all in one breath.
Nervous was she because she had always had a crush on him.
Cute, smart and funny, with the name of Jim.
The call to her phone made it jump in her pocket.
As she was holding out the key to her heart, hoping he would unlock it.
She didn't answer the phone; she knew it was her friend.
She was sure once she explained the situation she let the rules bend.
With his eyes he scanned her up and down,
Side to side and all around.
He saw her watching what he was doing
And it made her nervous so her fingernails, she began chewing.
He noticed and stopped but had a smirk,
Which made her think he was just another jerk.
Was he not going to like her because of her mature manner or because of her strange wit?
But really that had nothing to do with it.
But like a prisoner, his friends dragged him away,
Before he finished what he was about to say.
They said goodbye and she left to tell her friend what just took place.
She was so excited to see the look on her face.
She was thankful that they finally talked; she knew he would come around.
Not knowing the whole time they talked her fly was down...
