Everyday she puts on a smile which she fakes And goes thought the day ignoring the stomach aches The stomach aches are caused by stress But she'll never confess She's tired all the time And feels, to get any attention, she has to commit a crime She hates her stupid compulsions and her stupid fears Hates that over any stupid thing will come tears She wants to tell people things they've never known Like how she's surrounded by friends but feels so alone But could she really be that depressed If you saw her lifestyle you'd probably detest No one knows but she goes from being happy and cheery To all of a sudden down and dreary She doesn't tell anyone how she really does feel Because she's not sure this depression is real Some days she's sure she doesn't have it The days there's not tears, no fits The come they bad days That haunts her with dark and dreary ways She wants it to be like before was so stressed She wants it back to before she was depressed But day after day she puts on a smile which she fakes And tries to ignore the stomach aches POEM BY ME
