Abandoned Angel

by Michelle18   Aug 12, 2007

She has so much beauty,
More than one could ask for.
But why is that she's lonely,
And has no one to adore.

She is a good girl,
Looking for a relationship that will last.
Trying to avoid,
Everything from her horrible past.

She doesnt sleep around,
She doesnt do drugs or drink.
She'll soon find love,
Well, thats what you would think.

But no guy wants an innocent girl,
They all want the bad.
Those thoughts overcrowd her mind,
And make her so sad.

She yearns to be loved,
But has no clue what to do.
She is an abandoned angel,
This much we know is true.

I liked it and how it's true to real life. The first two stanzas are really good. The third stanza was a little off for me. The fluid-ness sort of broke a little in the forth stanza for me. And I also like the last stanza, especially with the title, "abandoned angel" in it.
