When I was a little girl I dreamed of love at first sight.
Then I grew up and got lied to and had my heart broken.
I stopped believing.
I mean why shouldn't of I?
I had people who were older and wiser then me tell me I was foolish, to believe such silliness.
I went on with life had a boyfriend or two.
It never worked out because deep down I still believed in true love.
Then one summer day a boy with beautiful green eyes smiled at me and my heart skipped a beat.
I heard a little, but strong voice whisper he's the one that you have been waiting for.
I thought it was silly of me to believe that voice, but something in your eyes took my breath away.
I threw caution to the wind and for the first time in a long time followed my heart.
Now here we are so in love, I wouldn't change a thing.
It was love at first sight on a beautiful summer day.
