If I Lost You

by TrueLover   Aug 13, 2007

If I lost you
There would really be no going back
No starting over
My heart and soul would both take cover
My life?
It would end
There are no melodramatics here
I'm only telling you the truth
If I lost you
I'd become a shell of who I'd once been
A human in essentials,
But nothing of a person
My heart, frozen
My interest at an end
If I lost you
I'd be alone, and that would never change
I shouldn't depend so much on just one person
But I do, because I love YOU
If I lost you,
That would never go away

I really like this one! The whole time I read it I was thinking of my boyfriend. Sometimes it is so hard to write what you really feel but if I lost him this would come pretty close I think. :-)
