I love once more

by Noelle Wright   Aug 13, 2007

I thought I had love all figured out
I thought any thing there was to know
I knew all about
Boy don't love like girls do I had always said
I had it all unlocked in my teenage head
I was in love but never loved in return
Just a little attention was my hearts yearn
Games lies and big ideas was all it ever got
And that's when it started my heart
Begun to rot
I hate boys and love and that I was sure
I give up on love I seek no more
I had giving up on happiness and life all together
Cause no matter if was sunny I always had stormy weather
Then something changed that had made no sense
My heart beats once more no longer is it dense
I had caught some ones eye without even knowing
And inside of him a love was growing
The things he said and did just made me melt in my shoes
And no longer was my heart singing the lonesome blues
The clouds drifted away and the sun was shinning once again
And that was the day I fell in love with my best friend

(Richards poem I <3 you)
