Phone (Hello, how are you?)

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Aug 13, 2007

Hello, how are you?
Things are fine over here.
God, it's wonderful
To hear your voice in my ear.
What? What's that?
You can't talk long?
Then I'll make this short,
And sweet like a song.
Life's alright,
But I miss you so much!
The taste of your kiss,
The warmth of your touch.
Well, I guess you should go,
I'll say goodbye now,
And I really hope
You'll call me back somehow.

Hello, how are you?
I've been thinking a lot,
Forever's been great,
But we've hit a rut.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry,
For my change of heart,
But it has been so long,
That we've drifted apart.
I wonder, do you
Wanna make this all end,
And maybe you'll go back
To being my friend?
I guess I'll hang up,
And let you decide,
Call me back when you know,
Till then, dear, goodbye.

Hey there, it's me,
Hello, how are you?
It's been a long while,
And I've been thinking this through.
So far, so bad,
But distance and time,
Can't destroy us,
This must be a sign.
I promise you, God!
I will come through!
Just please hold on,
Hope for me and you.
Just drop me a line,
When some time finds you,
Until then, goodbye,
And dear, I love you.

Hello, how are you?
I'm so glad you called,
I've thought this all out,
And I'm sorry I bawled.
You were right all along,
Of course we'll pull through,
I doubted it once,
But I'll never doubt you.
Thank God for these phones,
That keep us in touch,
For when these phones meet,
It will be such a rush.
I love you, my dear,
But my minutes are through,
Now I know I can say, though,
Hey Babe, how are you?

Good. Because I wasn't in the mood to fight with you again.
