Three small words

by Silver Raven Wolf   Aug 13, 2007

Tonight I ask you;
How many stars are there in the sky?
How many drops of water are in the ocean?
How much longer do I have to wait to hear you say three small words?

Yet these three small words could mean the world to me.
But I see the pain carved into your face every time i say three small words.
Late at night you come and cry to me,
You think I tease when i say them, I wish you would think of us as more than friends.

One night you took it too far.
The silver became stained in blood.
You cut in the wrong place and much too deep.
I walked threw the door just as you cut.

I was their when you woke up.
You started to yell. I left in tears.

Soon I quite answering you phone calls and e-mails.
Then one night you came over to my house, and begged me to come with you.
Reluctantly I agreed, you took me on a walk in the pale moon light.
Then you pulled me in to your arms and said those three small words I needed, the most.
