This is a poem I wrote with my boyfriend, well ex now. I wrote stanzas 3, 4 and part of 5 and 6.

You're the one that has my heart
I love you and I always will
My love for you will never depart
If we break up I'll love you still

From the first day I met you
I knew you was special
You're my number one baby
So I'll always protect you

Love has captured me
Wrapped me in it's arms
Showed me true happiness
Protected me from harm

A minute spent away from you
Is enough to break me to shreds
It's just too much to go through
It's a feeling I'll always dread

If I had to go through this with someone
That someone would be you
If I had to go through this with someone
I can see you pulling me through

Where is the joy without all the pain
Where is the sunshine if there's no rain
Where would I be if there was no us
Where would I go when times are tough

We're going to argue
We're going to fuss
That's going to happen;
That's called love
