Holding in the thoughts of you,
Still not knowing what to do.
Its hard to not let the tears flow,
After all It was me who let him go.
Memories continue circling in my mind
Reaching out to what I've left behind.
I paint a smile across my face,
Hoping it will lead me out of the human race.
Pretending that everything is O.K,
But truthfully I'm fighting everyday.
Lying about everything that is wrong,
Telling everyone my past is long gone.
My hearts sinking and starting to burn,
Life is unforgiving,the past you cannot turn.
Tears wont dry and cuts will not heal,
Tell me Lord....Is this a dream or is it real?
