To trust in love again

by Cassie   Aug 13, 2007

Love taught her heart how to fear
A roller coaster life
Always rising up above the sky
And just like gravity
She fell helplessly to the ground
Rising and falling all she ever did
Each time she began to get scared
Not being able to rise
Without bringing herself down
Hiding behind a mask she hid in dark
Never the one
Always another
Beginning to let go
Of her life and in trust
She doesn't care
Love had done her wrong
But giving love another change seemed dangerous
For fear had taken over
And trust was scarce
Bad choices in her life had done her wrong
Each day comes and goes
Long time will go before she learns
To trust in love again

A good poem. It is very sad. Trusting in love is hard after it has done you wrong but it can be good too. =D 5/5
