GIRLS(KINDA LONG)

by babblingxbrooke   Aug 13, 2007

Every girl is expected to be skinny and pretty
Which is nothing like me
Everyone tells me Im everything Im not
I have some insecurities, well maybe alot
When I look in the mirror all I see
Is a girl who longs to have everything
The looks, the talent, the flirtacious ways
All the curves, the guys cant look away
I cant do or change anything about me
So you have to look past my appearance and see
I would change everything just to get you to glance
To consider giving me a chance
You might think all of this sounds cheesy
But in the girl world its not easy
You have to be perfect in every way
Just to be accepted, every one wants you to stay
Every girl deep down inside
Has insecurities that they hide
"Do I look fat?"
"Can I fit in that?"
"She is so pretty!"
"Whats wrong with me?!"
We might not say it aloud
But inside we scream and shout
Just because you look a certain way
It shouldnt make anyone turn away
Every girl is unique in their own way
So here is a chance for me to say
We all worry of the flaws we have
Instead of being glad with qualities we do have
No one can change how they look or feel
Just remember that we all have feelings, we are real
