I like the way you move

by rina   Aug 14, 2007

I like the way you move,
the way your eyes light up a room,
the way you feel, the way you touch.

I like how your voice sounds,
how your arms warp around me,
how you hand fits so perfectly around mine.

I like how you make me feel,
so beautiful and right,
so happy and content.

I like the way you dress,
the way you comb your hair,
the way you look when you sleep at night.

I like the way you care,
about your family and friends,
about the world around you and yourself.

You might be right
it might be love and not just like.

I really liked the last line of this poem! This poem talks about something that many couples go through...that moment when you transition from liking each other to loving each other. I like that this poem is about that. Nice work. :)
