Love is opening
the door giving them the key
putting it in the palm of their hand
saying "together love is what we'll seek"

is trusting them with what you say or do
being with you no matter what
never worrying about taking advantage of you

having trust and devotion
not having any doubts
loving everything about them
inside and out

you will become one
forever side by side
having each others backs
never your life you will have to hide

always tell them how you feel
tell them about your day
tell them whether your happy or hurt
listen to what they have to say

love is giving them your heart
knowing that you heart they can destroy
but thats the thing
love is not playing with your heart like a toy
