Forever

Shadows prance along the walls,
Silhouettes of what could of been.
Inside, my heart calls.

Crying quietly, I remember when
I loved the person you were.
I wonder what's changed since then.

Right when I loved you most, everything blurred.
You tore my heart and laughed at my tears.
You brought reality back to my world.

Right then and there, it all became clear...
