Never say goodbye

by Ms Stacy   Aug 14, 2007

Never say goodbye to someone that you love.

After her tears had dried, after what seemed like a life time of being hurt by his memory and all his cruel words, she woke up and smiled, it was a new day, and a new life.

She packed her stuff the next day and he sat on the couch and didn't say a word, but he was dying inside, all those times he had told her he didn't want her had finally made her go, and now he sits there slowly dying inside.

Outside they go to talk, one last time to speak as a married couple, her family helps her pack her things as they go sit in the snow and smoke a cigarette and speak.

She sees that he is miserable and is on the verge of tears just looking at her.

She smiles and her bright blue eyes shine for what seems like the first time in a long time, he couldn't make her happy and he realizes for the first time it was because of him. As he takes a drag he chokes back another tear.

She walks towards him, ready to leave, and she looks him in the eyes before leaning forward and kissing him for the last time, he cries and she smiles, she quit loving him that day, and she started to live.

The feel of her lips was to much and finally he cries quiet tears, he wipes them away when she steps back and the last thing he heard his wife say was.

"Goodbye Christopher"
