Soul Mates Found

Two hearts that once beat separately,
One for kiana, One just for Me.

Found each other against all odds.
By chance, by fate, or will of Gods.

We each had others, and so stayed two
But learned of love that felt so true.

Each felt it in their soul and heart,
Nothing could keep these two apart.

We knew right then what must be done
it broke others hearts, it held no fun.

But to each other We did commit,
Two souls were joined, a perfect fit.

Looking now, to Me it seems,
The present is real, the past two dreams.

We walk along Our path with pride,
Hand in hand; Side by side.

Each giving the other total trust,
For Us at least, this is a must.

This story skips past many years,
Through joy and pain, laughs and tears.

Together still never apart,
Two souls joined, one beating heart.

There have been trials, don't get Me wrong,
But We passed them all, Our love is strong.

Both are old, Our kids have grown,
And now have kids all of their own.

Our love has stood the test of time,
My heart is hers, and hers is Mine.

We walk Our path, both strong and brave
Seeing now the end.....a grave.

Growing old once gave Me fear,
But not with one I hold so dear.

And so We walk down to Our grave,
Forever Master, Forever slave.

But walking gladly, Our hearts not sore,
Awaiting life......to love once more.

This is not the first life We have shared
And far from the last Our souls are paired.

I have no fear of the cold ground,
Not now I know My Soul mate's found.
