Traveling Heartbreak

by Taylor   Aug 15, 2007

I travel night and day,
Just trying to take my pain away,
All the while trying to find the love I need,
The deep desire,
The deep love I require.

From France to Germany,
To Germany to Spain,
What causes this pain?
This horrible love stain?
Is it my fault or is it hers?

Of course she is beautiful,
Of course she wants to be mine,
But I have to leave here,
I have to steer clear,
I have to be free.

From Spain to Guatemala,
From Guatemala to China,
Another girl of course,
Our fun can never last,
She will fall in love and I will have to leave her fast.

From China to Russia,
From Russia to Ireland,
Another girl of course,
I thought she was in love,
And I had to leave once again.

From Scotland to Mexico,
From Mexico to Belize,
I soon realized,
She is the thing in my heart that misleads,
She is what my heart really needs.

From Belize to Mexico,
From Mexico to Scotland,
I have to get back to her again,
I run and run as fast as I can,
Only to see him in his arms again.

I fell to the curb,
And I realized she really didn't love me,
It was only my imagination,
As I sit in front of the Scottish Shell Station.

All those girls,
From France to Germany,
From Germany to Spain,
Must feel this same pain,
How much pain they must feel.

Now I know,
I wish I could take it all back,
But I can't,
All i can do is eat Big Macs,
And wish I would have never hurt all those women.

I think I'm going to stay here,
In the land of the Scots for the rest of time,
And stay a mere heartbroken traveler,
Destined to loneliness all my fault.
