Never Old

by greenfairy   Aug 15, 2007

Joy and pain of a hundred years
collected like rain over time.
In this framework of bones
there's still beauty to find.

Blue eyes ever bright
with a thirst for life.
In the story of her memories
she quenches mine.

What a place to find this rose
her smile hidden in these halls.
To a heart willing to listen
unyielding desire calls.
