Rain

by Elapsed   Aug 15, 2007

Pitter patter with a bit of splatter,
They call me... Precipitation.

Weekend washed away, I'm only water,
look how they run as I come.

A simple beggar, left in anger,
lack of shelter, wishing for vapor.

Flowing like a graceful dancer,
For a while, life a little damper.

Wrinkled reflections in gutters,
Paper boats left for after.

Often referred as terrible weather,
While lovers snuggle under covers.

Won't be around much longer,
fading like a dying flower.

With a simple gesture,
I'll see you all later.
