Trapped (the original)

by Angel in moonlight   Aug 15, 2007

Deep inside her heart she cries but no one can hear her cause on the outside she denies that she's dying.
She can hide it from the world be she cannot hide it from herself.
She pretends that everything is OK but knows things aren't really that way.
She wants to runaway but has no where to go, no where to stay but in a world that she knows she doesn't want to be in.
She's hidden herself in a smile but she's really in denial.
She feels like she cannot take another trial.
She takes another drink hoping this one will be the one to stop the pain.
Instead, it hits her like a speeding train.
She passes out on the ground, not moving, not making a sound.
This time she's finally drowned her problems away.
She's finally escaped the nightmare she'd been living in
for so long.
Now there are people standing all around, looking at the
wilted rose that used to be so beautiful and full of life.
All because she didn't tell some one about her hidden pain and strife.
