As I watch the crescent moon,
Drifting with simple ease,
It's presence makes me think of you,
And if your also wondering about me.

As I gaze at it, floating,
I constantly think and ponder.
I sometimes wonder if you feel
Like this could be for real.

Your essence is so perfect,
It keeps me warm inside.
Knowing that tomorrow
I'll see you another time.

But then there's the feeling
That I really can't stand.
