Finishing The Plea

by 19Rusty   Aug 16, 2007

So I screamed your name under fifty lights,
in front of millions of faces, Jesus, Joseph and
his wife, nothing felt wrong, no shattered
pieces, only the satisfaction of having broken
out of my hidden romance, an having you know
is better than staring at you from a far.

After I plan my life, all the hardships solved,
and what I want is looking me back in my eyes,
would you take your chances with someone
who is so cheap, a hopeless romantic, and half
the time is staring at his feet, or would you like
to change every little thing, be your vision
of what and how a man is supposed to be,
I'd gladly even if for a day, to know how things
would be without worrying who else you would take
to worship your feet.

I'll keep on at trying to convince you, even if that
means not speaking one word to you, using any
other method to put in your mind what I think,
put in your hands something of mine so the
quiet will have its own voice.

Form all my dreams into one simple sentence,
tell you all the signs to form one hell of a lasting
suspense, that builds up to you and me still
sitting in the dark.
