My "mommy dearest"

by Neme juste un jouet   Aug 16, 2007

My hands bleed
for the one who
"here passes"
for the one who
Passed
For the one who left me here
My hands bleed from gripping at her shirt
As I pleaded, As i
Screamed...
"Mother, mommy...
Don't leave me"
Don't you abandon me here!
...
My scream echo endlessly,
in the Halls of my Past
And I know she can still hear me
I know she still regrets...
being Able
ABLE
To talk to me still, to now...
And never even bothering to say hi
Not once....
Not in awhile
Never once has she tried since she left me
Never once...
But she made me
And HER mistake broke me
made me unable to accept a new mom...
She ruined parts of my life
WITHOUT even being present
without being anything than a mere shadow
She Made her daughter
Fall...
Fall..
and nearly drown
And screams of "mommy"
Here
Forever remain

Well, my last comment was a little cryptic, so i guess ill make this one straightfoward:

Nemerah, i have read lots of poetry, many beautiful words strung together into stanza, sentence, rhyme... but thats all they are, poems. yours are heartfelt, they show emotion and longing! they cry out for someone to listen, they want someone to hear their pleas. i have only read one other poet who uses such emotion as this.

    5/5
