If there was hope

My heart is shattered
my soul is lost
my dreams remind me
what is cost

my heart can not heal
the longing for the one
is all I feel

I try to forgive
and try to forget
but the pain of love
is all I get

the sun comes up
and the sun goes down
but he is still
always around

I try to forget him
I try to move on
but my heart cant accept
that he is forever gone

I cant try to feel
for some one else
my heart feels shame
that I have never felt

I'd give up my world
to have him again

pain is all I get

if there was hope

this heart burning pain

maybe the sun
could rise once again

would fill my deep darkest plain
