Death Of An Angel

by RedClover   Aug 16, 2007

An angel sits on a cold gravestone
Looking down upon the world
Seeing people hide behind made-up masks
Never ending fights that brake families apart
Wars that kill innocent lives for the sake of peace
Corrupt governments that go against its`s own people
Pollution that causes the world to die
Friends going against each other just to be cool
Rumors that ruin the lives of others
Mothers that abandon their children in garbage cans
Sadness that fills people`s aching hearts
Love that can never be returned
Blood dripping down open wrists
Losing the ones you love the most
Tears run down the angel`s face
The cruel world crushing him slowly
All he wanted was to be accepted
For someone to see, not the monster inside him
But to see the real him
And as he looked upon the star-filled sky
He said a small wish, as he faded away
