Wishful Sinful

by Andrew Morton   Aug 17, 2007

I know that you can feel me
but can your lover feel you?
sneaking around the night
while he's laying in your room

but still we tip our glasses
sipping non-existent guilt
shattering a current love
that is already built

i've really come to hate
loving every part of you
we represent everything
that i said id never do

wrapped in a blanket of lies
while we battle the cold
feeling closer than ever
in the depths of both our souls

oh, dear wishful sins
in the battle of deception
what we're doing here
is an unwelcome reception
