Many who use it to express
Express what they have gone through
Or have been through

Poetry is a gift
A gift given to all
To all who is willing
Willing to achieve their best

Poetry can bring tears
Tears of joy
Tears of painful memories
Tears of past experience

Poetry is defined
‘art of the poet’
Is poetry really an art?
Art indeed it is

Poetry is from the heart
From the soul of victims
Victims of pain and suffering

Poetry is what we want it to be
It can be anything to our imagination
If it touches one person
Then it has been for a good cause

Poetry is our life
Some use it
Others deny it
For us poets
We chose to encourage it
Be proud to be a poet
