Serendipity

I oftentimes sit and wonder about
Just what brought You to me
I think I've finally figured it out
It was that lucky lady, Seredipity!
She came to me when I felt alone
Have given up hope of ever finding
Someone to share my whole life with
But our love was all in the timing.
Just a few short minutes later
And You would have been lost to me
I now bless the fates and God...
And that brilliant accident that allowed this to be.
What was I feeling, why was I writing?
At just that particular moment in time
What were you doing? Why were you searching?
What were you hoping to find?
But you decided to comment on 'Just Okay'
And I responded by clicking Craig and reading
We didn't have a clue just then
Where all of that would be leading!
I knew you were out there somewhere
Just wanting and waiting to be found
But Serendipity led me to your hearts door
And she turned my world around.
Lonely passes by my house nowdays
Trep(idation) has at last skulked away
And poor Prag(matic) is long dead and gone
But all the others are here to stay.
Wistfully Wishful is my constant companion
And since You, Inspirations always there
But Serendip is my new favorite (sorry I!)
Because she's answered my every prayer.
You're the most wonderful thing in my life, Craig
And you've changed forever 'Me' now into 'We'
I'm thankful to anticipate our loving future
And grateful for that lovely Serendipity.
