One night laying alone awake in bed
My eyes slowly opening so wide
Realizing you'd cut through defenses

But late this one night

Realization quickly hit me
Taking over my heart and head

Found myself starting to smile
As I thought only of you
Heartbeat quickly speeding up
Thinking what we've been through

Finally can say that I trust you
