Waiting For the Sun.

by GretaInsideOut   Aug 17, 2007

Waiting for the sun
Is like waiting for a lifetime
This night is so alone
Alone I lay here.

The moon is hiding away
As I stare at my ceiling
I feel like I’m drowning
In a blanket of all my sorrows

I long for the days so warm
When I felt like I was free
Now as I lay
I wish I could feel.

I look around to find but darkness
Like the corners of my soul
Trashed and torn I crumble here
Never to see the sun.
