Nan And Pop

The Nurses rushing back and forth here and there, frustrating tears hollow along the halls. A lonesome man lay awake staring at the dirt stains on the walls, wishing, thinking about his beloved wife Louise who is left behind, a dying brain in the waiting room for death (to come).
Keith was the lonesome man, who wishes only to be with his wife , where he belongs, right back at home. The more years he lays in the Dingy hospital bed, the more he ponders, the more restless he becomes; The more his brain and memory disintegrates. Keith only has faint memories of Louise and the life they had built together. 61 years of marriage is slowly slipping away from him. One visit from Louise once a month as tears stream down her frail face as she clenches his hand like the world is falling away below her feet, as she brushes the tears away, then leans toward him to give him her last kiss, struggling to reach him through the thick bars on his bed. Louise and Keith pull away as the Amity nurses announce to her that visiting hours are over.

This occurs once a month of every year, that Louise goes home to an empty house only to sit in her chair wasting her last years on romance novels thinking of the man she had. Whilst Keith's losing grip, being in a nursing home for more than 3 years now, imagine waking up everyday thinking you are going home, just imagine this, just once. He wakes up when he is just building up for the let down only to be told "No Keith you are not going home today". Louise cries out for him but he can not come to her. Louise has been alone now for some time, and will be for some time to come. She has been given every ounce of false hope that is possible that he will come home, but in her heart she knows he is not coming. Does he remember her face, her voice anything at all?
His brain has been demented, and maliced. Is all memory lost? Which is what hurts Louise the most, as she says "life will go on" but in this case will love this strong find a way? These two birds need to be set free so they can fly together as one and escape the pain, and to know that they are not coming back to the misery and the pain.

The years of melancholy which they had encountered on the never-ending battle of pain, hurt and true love. But the thing is Keith is not coming back, not now, not ever.
