A Serene Love

by Midnight Sun   Aug 17, 2007

A cabin in the meadow
Listening to the babbling brook
Rocking on the front porch
Upon the blue mountains we look

Our fingers enmeshed
Our hearts intertwined
All my lost thoughts
You're sure to find

We need no one else
We learn from each other
If we could live on love
We'd live longer than forever

With you by my side
I can do anything
You let me feel love
When I fly you're my wings

When you cross my mind
I can't help but smile
Which means I rarely frown
Only once in a great while

For this I must thank you
It's a privilege so rare
To find someone so special
That I'll give myself to share

So so sweet!! I've missed your poems hun!
The flow is fabulous as always, the words just roll right off the tongue. Defo a 5/5 Midnight!

Aw, beautiful and sweet, I like the way it assoiciates love with the peaceful feeling of being alone and secluded in the wild, becuase really thats what it is, everything and everyone stops existing but that one someone. Wonderful piece, I liked.
Really for me all love poems are awesome =P doesn't change the fact this ones good though.

Good job again! Great opening...your last stanza (actually the last line of the last stanza) throws the flow a bit off, but other than that it's a very pretty piece!
