Misery

by Mia   Aug 17, 2007

She walks down the street
The darkness surrounds her
She looks down at her feet
How long must she walk?

Her mom is gone
And her dad is in prison
Since she was born
Her life has been miserable

She has no more energy
She falls to the ground
Mom she says with tears in her eyes
Knowing that she is not around

She reaches for the sky
Trying to hold back a tear
She cannot carry on
Not when she only lives in fear

Burnt like a witch
Nobody cares
A cry for help
Nobody hears
Broken inside
Nobody sees
And nobody likes

Misery
